District 121 is made up of nearly 17% of clubs serving the student community in the form of college / university based toastmasters club. In order to ensure that such clubs have a strong support system created for our college clubs and its members, the Office of Club Growth Director has an Education Institutions team.
The team will aid the college’s unique needs such that more colleges get on board with having a club on the premises of their institute. This team is responsible for providing a game plan for college clubs to have meetings, thus ensuring their continuity. They hope to magnify the existing college clubs’ network and connect them with Toastmasters in the industry so that students can engage with this network and reap the full benefits of being a Toastmaster member.
Furthermore, the team also plans on organising exclusive events and competitions for college students, aiming to provide them a platform to showcase themselves and their talents, which indeed will also spread awareness about Toastmasters International among the student community.
