5 Tips To Get Started

  1. Log in to www.toastmasters.org/login to ensure that your username and password are correct.
  2. Enroll in Pathways—the Toastmasters education program.

  3. Review The Navigator—your guide to Toastmasters.*

  4. Sample your first project, the Ice Breaker.

  5. Ask your vice president education to pair you with a mentor, to help you along the way.

 

Did you know that a Toastmaster wears many hats?

Yes! A toastmasters club meeting provides you with numerous opportunities to learn and practice communication and leadership skills by assuming a variety of roles.

 Here’s the Toastmasters Promise you would make as a member of Toastmasters International

As a member of Toastmasters International and my club, I promise  

  • To attend club meetings regularly

  • To prepare all of my projects to the best of my ability, basing them on the Toastmasters education program

  • To prepare for and fulfil meeting assignments

  • To provide fellow members with helpful, constructive evaluations

  • To help the club maintain the positive, friendly environment necessary for all members to learn and grow
