Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:

ERP Consultant which means meeting the clients in SMB sectors and get the requirements from the client, communicate to the developers and get the work done and implement in the client place which demands me as better communicator and leader and this experience leads me to take up the ex-com role in the clubs and district leader role in D121.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

As a ERP Consultant, define what is the outcome of the project to the client. Then, how to outline the expectations, Set the goals and objectives, Prioritize, Assess capabilities of the team, Develop the action plan for the team, Prepare to respond to change and execute the plan, Use the metrics and measures to check the outcome. Thus the strategic planning is the differentiator.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

In my office work, executed the project which has financial aspects like forecasting of the project, budgeting, borrowing, expenditure, tracking the expenses, optimizing the resources and saving for the company.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

I work as ERP consultant. Meet the clients, get the requirements, meet developers and implement the software which required huge procedures to execute the things seamlessly. Set the goal, break it into tasks, draft with steps and instructions, inform to the resources with due date. And review every now and then for the procedures to be robust.

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

Yes, I want to serve as a District Leader. When I serve to the community, it is a win-win situation both for community and myself. I serve to the needy people in communication and leadership. In this process, my communication and leadership also sharpened when I interact with like minded people. It gives immense pleasure and satisfies me.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

As District mission says, “We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence”, excellent club bring meaningful contribution to the individuals. Always add value to the individuals through the club’s agenda. Satisfied individuals bring prospective guests to the clubs whom will get converted into new members. Thus growth will be achieved for members, clubs, areas, division and district.
