More than a decade experience working as two wheeler designer and currently working as manager at Numeros motors in Bangalore
What experience do you have in strategic planning?
During term as president, I have experience in setting clear goals, coordinating teams, and adapting plans as needed.
As a president used strategic planning to achieve
– First newsletter for the club
– President distinguished club & Hall of fame silver
– Mentor maker program implementation at the club and also DTM award for a member
As a Area Director used Strategic planning to achieve
– Ti branding as Area through past District PR education sessions
– Planned educational events from district level champions for Area level contestants which improved the quality of the contest
– To bring collaboration through linkers meet.
Organized many milestones meeting for home club which involves finance for the events [Halloween, Underprivileged girls day out in Nexus mall & Vineyard tour etc etc]
Management finance for club event, club promotions, club contest, Area contest and past 3 area linkers meet in division I
What experience do you have in developing procedures?
– My profession as EV design engineer involves creation of procedure for design and development.
– At toastmasters, I have created procedure of TAG roles, Members on-boarding at club level and Mentor making.
– I have created exclusive website for Area level to understand procedure of club contest, PR materials, Meeting roles etc.
What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?
– Overcome my judgment about people
– Time management and alternate thinking to find solution
– Handling conflict- “Don’t text and spend a time to call or meet in person to resolve the conflict”
– Listen to people to understand not to reply.
Why do you want to serve as a District leader?
– Skills to learn which I don’t get from my profession
– Seeing things at macro level or handling challenges at macro level
– Utilize district dashboard to analyses the club challenges and find a solution_
– Learn the art of entrepreneurship, for example chartering a club in a corporate
– Learn to achieve bigger goals.
In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?
District 121 Vision: We empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.
District Mission: We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence.
Educational programs related to communication, story telling and educational session from leaders.
For example – communication- I have arranged 3 educational session for my Area and 1 leadership educational session from the past district director of d121
Exclusive training for council members and Effective PR in Division to promote about toastmaster in corporate.
