I have served in all seven club officer roles, gaining a holistic understanding of club leadership. Additionally, I was recognized as a President’s Distinguished Area Director for my unwavering commitment to achieving excellence.

Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District leader:

I have served as a team lead in my professional career. Also, part of various extended teams to support the District’s mission, and mentored club members beyond my own clubs, further enhancing my leadership and team collaborative skills.

What experience do you have in strategic planning?

I have significant experience in strategic planning through roles like Area Director and as part of extended teams, including CGD at the Division and District levels.

What experience do you have in the area of finance?

My experience includes managing personal budgets, and overseeing the club finances as the Treasurer.

What experience do you have in developing procedures?

As a leader, I’ve established procedures to promote leadership growth within clubs and made regular adjustments based on progress to achieve desired outcomes.

What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?

Situational leadership by adapting strategies, lead by example, and emphasize rewards and recognition to motivate and guide the club members.

Why do you want to serve as a District leader?

I want to serve as a District Leader to make a meaningful impact, empower club officers and members to reach their potential, and strengthen member retention. This role challenges me to apply strategic leadership to drive club success while contributing to the district’s mission.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?

My primary focus would be to enhance membership growth through new club charters, increasing membership, and retaining existing members by consistently offering value to them.
